This wonderful book takes the reader for a stroll through the home, starting at the heart of every house - the kitchen - with recipes for bread, breakfast and preserves. The verandah is the place morning tea, afternoon tea and supper is served. The dining room is kept for more formal meals and larger gatherings of guests.
