Set in the tiny, isolated village of Viscos, The Devil and Miss Prym begins with old Berta, the oldest inhabitant of the village. Berta has a terrifying premonition when she sees a stranger approaching the village's only hotel. Berta can see he's not alone: he is accompanied by the Devil. So begins a battle between good and evil. Chantal Prym, a young orphan girl, is faced with a choice offered by the stranger. This offer could result in her becoming wealthy and changing her life forever, but for that to happen, she will have to betray one of the key values on which society is based on values she believes in.
