MARY BLAIR (1911 1978) is revered in both the children s animation and illustration industries. For nearly four decades, she was involved in many important Disney projects, creating the concept paintings for the animated films "Peter Pan," "Cinderella," and "Alice in Wonderland, " and illustrated the Golden Book Classic "I Can Fly." GARTH WILLIAMS (1912 1996) brought to life some of the best-loved children s books of the 20th century, including E. B. White s "Charlotte s Web" and "Stuart Little, " and illustrated many classic Little Golden Books, such as "Baby Farm Animals," "The Sailor Dog," and "The Kitten Who Thought He Was a Mouse." ELOISE WILKIN (1904 1987) is one of the most beloved and prolific Golden Books illustrators. Her classic Little Golden Books "My Little Golden Book About God" and "Prayers for Children" have never been out of print."
